Who We Are
Ambient Magic Art Studios is an artist collective located under the Morrison Bridge in southeast Portland. Our facility houses a diversity of artists, makers and small businesses. We host a number of workshops, shows and community building events. We believe art is an essential part of creating a better world.
Our Community
Our collective is community minded and practice sharing skills, resources and encourage each other to achieve our highest artistic selves—whether it’s hosting an art show, workshop or organizing a vending event.
The Space
The studio is comprised of 20 physical studio spaces that span two floors; one on the street level and another basement level. Both floors feature a central communal work space. The basement opens up into a large outdoor patio area. Both the upstairs and downstairs units have access to a sink, community supplies, storage and heating. The studio is open to members 24/7 and only open to the public for events.

How to Find Us
Ambient Magic is located underneath the Morrison bridge in the Buckman neighborhood. There is parking available directly in front of the building.
Public Transit
We are a two minute walk from the Trimet bus stops for 6, 15 and the A line trolley.
Car or Bike
If you are heading south turn right onto SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. If you are heading north on 99E turn left on Alder after the bridge and left again on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and the studio will be the turquoise building on the right underneath the bridge.
